Photography

I have to be completely honest and admit that I am a gadget freak. And there is no nicer and more precious gadget than a photo camera. I was totally mesmerised when my grandpa bought me a Russian 35mm Zenith for my 11th birthday. That feeling is still with me.

I enjoyed the hours spent on photo shoots and video production in my advertising years. I had a chance to work with many brilliant photographers. I was using the opportunity to shamelessly absorb all I could. 20 years on, I am pretty handy with the camera, lights and other aspects. Not necessarily to call me a dedicated professional photographer, but good enough for an occasional set of headshots or low budget videography project.

I am still cataloguing my photos and figuring out the best way to organise them. This section will inevitably grow in time, so don't be a stranger.

Fisherwood Farm is an absolute must to visit when in East Sussex. Owned by Nicki and Carol, this is the place to have an afternoon tea or a whole day outing with the family. You will be enjoying superb views, friendly alpacas, sheep and hens while binging on homemade goodies. Last summer, I had a whole bucket of fun doing this set of images and a promotional video.

Dr Alex Tremmel is our village dentist and a good friend. He has run his excellent practice for 9 years now and has decided to freshen up his digital presence. So, I helped with a series of headshots and workplace photography.

Camber Sands is a gorgeous place. Possibly, my favourite in England. And sometimes in winter, when the sky is clear, and the sunshine is bright, it just brings back that magic of the 1930s cinematography. With some help from the hand-held flash, it's just silverly awesome.
